Coach Mike McCarthy has expressed satisfaction with all four of his QBs Aaron Rodgers, Mason Rudolph, Will Howard, and rookie Drew Allar and believes they've earned places on the 53 man roster.
McCarthy's willingness to keep four quarterbacks is a departure from his previous practice. In his 18 year head coaching career, he has never kept this many QBs on his Week 1 roster.
