Salmonella in the Supply Chain: A Crisis of Contamination and Transparency Taylor Farms, one of the largest produce companies in the US, has issued a recall of 20 products containing jalapeno peppers due to a salmonella outbreak linked to its lettuce sourced from Mexico.
This move follows a similar recall by Coast Citrus Distributors, which had already pulled its jalapeno products from the market.
The affected products were sold at major retailers such as Walmart and Whole Foods across 26 states.
