Trust Deficit: Why Young Adults Distrust Tech CEOs A recent study from CNBC and the Generation Lab has shed light on a disturbing trend: young adults, aged 18 34, overwhelmingly distrust tech CEOs.
Nearly two thirds of respondents do not trust Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to act responsibly on AI, while 81% have little faith in Palantir CEO Alex Karp.
The survey's findings also reveal that young adults are skeptical about the U. S. economy, with a whopping 80% expressing negative sentiment. A significant majority believes that the economy will worsen in the future.
